NOVEMBER 2005
We praise the Lord for a wonderful Fall Meeting at the
First Baptist Church in Canton, Michigan. Pastor
and Mrs. Haselhuhn and the church family went all out to make this one of the
best fall meetings ever. The
program was well prepared and everything took place with clock-like precision.
The church members were wonderful hosts and made everyone feel right at
home. The Mission Store was very nice and our missionaries were
able to select many wonderful items to help them set up housekeeping on the
field. Our offering was a little
short of the goal, but we are expecting more offerings to come in a little later
so we will end up very close to the goal when everything is received. Plan ahead for next year’s Fall Meeting, which will take
place October 16-18, 2005 at the Bible Baptist Church in Kissimmee, Florida.
We regret to inform you that Steve
and Lisa Cummins have submitted their resignation as WBF Missionaries to
Belarus. They were unable to remain
in Belarus and they do not feel at peace about another field, at least at this
present time. Please pray for Steve
and Lisa as they seek the Lord’s will for their life and ministry.
We will continue to receive support for them for three months as they
make the transition to life here in the U. S.
Mike & Debbie
Lane will be coming to the States in November for a three month furlough,
and also Rick & Megan
Washburn will be coming toward the end of the year for a six month furlough.
Due to visa requirements, the Washburns can only be out of Spain for six
months at a time.
Please pray for Justin McCutchen, the son of WBF
Missionaries Mark & Dana
McCutchen, who is stationed in Iraq. Michael
Hart, son of WBF Missionaries Alan &
Kathy Hart, will also soon be going to Iraq. Pray that the Lord will keep these young men safe as they
serve our country in the war zone.
Pray for the following missionaries who are ill:
Miss Bessie Millican
continues in the same condition as she has for months.
She is completely bedridden and has to receive around the clock care.
Jack Weaver has been in
the hospital with pneumonia, but is now back at the care center in Longview, TX.
Sandy Janky needs knee
surgery, but the doctors have been afraid to do the surgery due to her heart and
lung problems. Pray for Sandy, who
is in a great deal of pain. Please
continue to pray for Sammy Jo Myers
and Cyndi Chapman, that they
will remain cancer free. Both will
undergo periodic testing in the future. Shaunna
McCutchen has been in the hospital with viral meningitis.
Pray for her recovery. Debi
Harris, Monnie Bacon, Gloria
Higgins, Mary & Phil Gagnon,
Joe Hawkins, Betty
Hawkins all need your prayers as they battle ongoing illness.
Thank you for your faithfulness in prayer and financial
support for our missionary families. We
also appreciate each church and individual that has a part in the financial
support for the General Fund. We
could not operate the Mission Office without your faithfulness.
Our service to the missionary families helps them in their work on the
field and you make that possible through your prayers and support.
