We are happy to welcome to the World Baptist Fellowship
Mission Family the following missionaries:
Brian and
Melody Joy Densmore and their two small sons, Benjamin and Joshua, will be
going to the country of New Zealand. The
Densmores are sent out by the Woodside Baptist Church in Denver, Colorado.
Melody Joy is the granddaughter of WBF Missionaries Shelby and Stella
Mayo. They look forward to their
ministry among the people of New Zealand.
Robert and
Marcia Steffens will be going to Mexico.
They plan to work with the Tarahuamara Indians in the State of Chihuahua
in the north central Mexican mountains. The
Steffens are sent out by the Pleasantview Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas.
They have four grown children.
Miss Dawne Hart
is going to the country of Portugal. She
is the daughter of WBF Missionaries Alan and Kathy Hart and plans to work with
her parents in the ministry there in Portugal.
Miss Hart is sent out by the Dalton Baptist Church in Dalton, Ohio.
These new missionaries are eager to begin their deputation
and would love to come to your church to present their ministry.
You may contact them through the Mission Office if you wish to have them
for a meeting.
Mark and
Dana McCutchen have arrived from Brazil to begin their furlough.
Pray for them as they get settled, purchase a vehicle, and begin their
furlough travels.
After 45 years of faithful ministry in the country of
Spain, Lonnie and Jo Ann King will
begin a new Spanish language ministry in Winkelman, Arizona.
They have already made contacts in the area and are looking forward to
founding a Spanish speaking Independent Baptist Church to reach the growing
Hispanic population there. The
Kings will continue to be a part of the WBF Mission Family and will need your
ongoing prayers and financial support in this new area of ministry.
Please pray for Mrs.
Bonnie Winters and her ministry among the Native American women and children
in Milan, New Mexico. Since Bro.
Jimmy’s homegoing, Bonnie has continued her ministry among the women and
children, but there is a great need for a family to join her in the work there.
A retired preacher has been holding services on Sunday mornings at the
church, but is unable to carry on the day to day ministry.
Pray that the Lord will call a family to go and join in this needy work.
Pray for the following missionaries who are ill:
Bessie Millican, Jack
Weaver, Sandy Janky, Joe
Hawkins, Betty Hawkins,
Wanda Whaley, Monnie
Bacon, Mary Gagnon, Phil Gagnon,
Gloria Higgins, Debi
Harris, Juanita Bowen, Sammy
Jo Myers.
Please join in prayer for our upcoming WBF Fall Meeting,
which will take place October 17-19, 2005 at the First Baptist Church in Canton,
Michigan. Plan to meet with us for
these days of wonderful fellowship. Pray
also for the Mission Store and the Special Mission Offering goal of $50,000.
Thank you for your faithfulness in prayer and support for
our missionary families and also for the General Fund.
We are thankful to be a part of your missionary outreach to the world.
