NEWSLETTERAPRIL 2005
Matt and Flor Patton have completed their deputation ministry and Matt will now begin language study in preparation for entering their field of service in Cuba. He will study Spanish in Saltillo, Mexico in a concentrated course and they hope to arrive in Cuba in September to begin their ministry there. Pray that the Lord will keep the door of opportunity open to them for their work in that needy field. David and Carole Ross have arrived in the U. S. from Indonesia for their furlough. Pray for them as they get adjusted and begin their furlough travel. They may be reached through the Mission Office or by phone at 937-253-2487. Please make your plans to be present at the WBF May Fellowship Meeting, which will be held at Arlington Baptist College, May 16-19, 2005. Dr. David Bryant has planned a great program that will be a blessing to everyone. We will have a nice representation of our mission family present at the meeting also. Please remember our missionaries who are ill:
Miss Bessie Millican continues
to cling to life at her home in Gonzalez, Mexico.
Pray for comfort for Miss Bessie as she waits on the Lord’s will to be
done in her life. Jack
Weaver continues his battle with Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
Sammy Jo Myers is
undergoing radiation treatment in her battle with cancer.
Wanda Whaley is
recovering from double by-pass surgery and doing well.
Juanita Bowen continues
her recovery from back surgery and will have to undergo further surgery in the
near future. Gary
Janky will undergo shoulder surgery in a few weeks following some physical
therapy. Elaine
Hawkins will have cataract surgery in the near future.
Bro. Joe Hawkins
is doing well in his recovery from blood clots in his lungs.
Sandy Janky, Monnie
Bacon, Gloria Higgins, Mary
Gagnon, Phil Gagnon, Debi
Harris, Dr. Dale Chambers all continue their struggles with illness.
All these are in need of our intercessory prayers. Thank you for your investment in the lives and ministry of our missionary families around the world, and also for your part in prayer and financial support for the Mission Office. We appreciate each church and individual Christian who has a part in our efforts toward world evangelization. NEW ADDRESS: David Ross Tommy Raley Since
