Dear Friends,
The departure countdown is near it's end. In answer to prayer, we got a great deal on our flight tickets. We fly out of Dallas, TX, on September 5th at 8:30 AM.
Our arrival at our home should be about 30 hours later. Please pray for our return flights. We have a few connections, and only the Lord knows how the air travel will be that day. We also will have much baggage that we pray will make it through without getting lost!
We are looking forward to our September 7th church lunch with our people in Caxias. Seventy plus people have received an invitation. May the Lord bless the visits we will be making to renew the relationships.
We thank the Lord for His protection on the road this furlough. We just completed our last major road trip. It began May 27th and ended today. The total miles cruised was over 13,000 miles! During this time we visited family and friends, as well as 12 supporting churches and 11 non-supporting. By the time this furlough ends, we will have reported to 51 of our supporting churches, and presented our ministry in 44 others. When it is all finished, we will have traveled over 55,000 miles!
Our financial support is about at 90% of what we need. Please continue to pray
for our finances.Our prayer requests are as follows:
