PRAYER/NEWS LETTER
February & March
2010

Dear Co-Laborers in Christ,

We praise the Lord for His love, grace, power and continual presence as we work together with Him.  This year Judy and I will celebrate our 36th year as missionaries in Brazil. Much has been accomplished, but there is much more to be done. Pray for our Lord to call others to labor for souls here in this needful country.
The Bible Baptist Church in Barretos had a great Vacation Bible School in January with an average daily attendance of 102 and 112 in Sunday School and 12 professions of faith in Jesus Christ. We thank our Lord for giving us faithful and dedicated workers who worked so hard in very hot and humid weather. Thank you Lord!
In February all our area churches had their annual Youth Camps in several different locations. All were tremendous blessing to everyone who attended. The Bible Baptist Church in Barretos went to a camp sponsored by the Independent Baptist Church in Formiga, Minas Gerais, which is a five hour drive from Barretos. The daily average attendance of this camp was 210 and there were 22 professions of faith in Jesus Christ.
One of our young men, Luan, surrendered his life to Christ for full time Christian service as a pastor or missionary. Pray for Luan to remain faithful to his commitment to the Lord and for all his needs to be met as he enrolls in the Bible Baptist Institute.
Our daughter, Cindy, arrived in Brazil on the 6th of March for a two week visit and vacation. Our son, Jody, took Cindy and Judy on a trip to Rio de Janeiro for a tour of all the tourist attractions. They saw and did all they could do in ONE day and returned to Barretos exhausted.
Judy's health has continually improved and she has returned to her normal activities. Thank you so much for your prayers on her behalf. Please continue to pray for our health and ministry here in Brazil. We are so grateful for your prayer and financial support. Without either, our work here would not be possible. Thank you!

In Christ Jesus,

Lanny and Judy Wood
