Rev. James "Jim" Winters

Services for James Winters, 58, were held at 10 a.m.,  Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003 at Grants Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Tommy Raley officiating. Burial was at Grants Memorial Park.

Jim Winters died Nov. 30, 2003 in Milan, New Mexico.  He was born Dec. 19, 1944 in Crossett, Arkansas.  He served as a missionary with the World Baptist Fellowship.  He founded and was Pastor of the Faith Baptist Church in Milan.  Jim was a volunteer chaplain with Cibola County Sheriff's Office. His hobbies included flying planes.

Survivors include, his wife Bonnie of Milan; son, Matt Winters of Forney, Texas; daughters, Sarah Winters of Milan and April Winters of Las Cruces; brothers, Dennis Winters of Montgomery, Texas and Shannon Winters of Deer Park, Texas; sister, Becky Lombardo of Houston, Texas; and two grandchildren.
