Dear Praying Friends,

        Psalms 37:4 says, "Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." God is so good. My desire for after the time God would take Jack home to be with Him was to use my Spanish. Being able to go to Mexico to work with my daughter and son-in-law fills that desire for me.

        I've still got lots of things to do before I go. I need to pack things in four groups - one to sell, one to take to Mexico, one for Mexico for when I get my own place, and one for keeping. Please help me pray that I can sell my property.

        The holidays went well for me. I was with two of my daughters in Arlington, Sherry and her family and Wendy. I got to be with my son, Jay, and his family during the Christmas season. I was able to visit my mother who is in a nursing home and see my brother twice. They're all in Ohio.

        I have spoken to a few churches to tell them what the Lord has for me, but I am not much of a driver, so I can't visit lots of churches. I pray that you will understand. I will be speaking at a ladies' meeting in February.

        Michelle, my daughter, and I have a speaking (teaching) engagement in October of this year. We will each be teaching three classes at a Ladies' Retreat for Jessie Starling's ladies. I am really excited about this.
