"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
                Ephesians 6:12

Dear Pastor and Church,                            October - November 2005

Youth camp went well this year. The theme was "Don't Ever Give Up". We had three saved from our church and two surrendered their life to serve the Lord. Ja-khu, one young man from our church kept raising his hand during the invitation. It didn't matter if it was about serving the Lord or salvation. This was his first time to youth camp and he had been growing in the Lord. He had accepted the Lord and been baptized this last year. We had Pra-doe (who teaches the youth at the church) talk with him. Ja-ku told him that every time Bro. Rick got up to give the invitation it really touched his heart and he could not help but raise his hand. Also, he was afraid that Bro. Rick would feel bad if no one raised their hand so he wanted to encouragement him by raising his own hand.

I am still teaching on the Minor Prophets. We got behind on the institute because of government and fellowship meetings. I am still hoping to finish teaching by the end of December so we can graduate these three students in January. But, it is looking more like the end of January. In the month of November Rick came up to teach a class on Leadership. We opened it up for the church. We averaged 17 in the morning sessions and 28 in the evenings. Then Jay came up to teach the General Epistles. Thursday evenings I am teaching the Life of Christ to 10 students. We teach in the evenings to allow church members to attend.

We will travel down to Phuket the second week of December to help put in a water purifying system. Seven months ago I asked a missionary friend about the possibility of getting one for the village here. He was helping an organization put them in some of the villages after the tsunami hit. He was able to get two of them for villages in the north. We now have a $10,000 water purifying system for our village that is in Phuket. The only catch is that we have to go down to get it and help put one in to learn how to install ours.

Praise the Lord for this opportunity because the streams they drink out of gets pretty filthy during the rainy season and causes a lot of sicknesses.

God bless you all
