"For we wrestle not
against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the
rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high
places."
Dear Pastor and Church, May-June 2005 Back in January we wrote about Na-gaw getting saved two years ago at youth camp. After about six months she threw her Bible away and dropped out of church. Then one day she shows up with her younger brothers. The very next Sunday Kannika had the opportunity to lead her mom (Na-saa) to the Lord. We praise the Lord that during the month of April her brother, Jakheu, accepted Christ followed by her other brother, Ja-wat, in the month of May. Please pray for this family and for Na-gaw who has went to the city to work. The word we get is that she is not following the Lord. If everything continues on schedule we should have three graduates from the Bible Institute in Cheing Khong this year. I have been able to complete Systematic Theology, Colossians, and Nehemiah so far this year while also teaching Bible Study Methods and Life of Christ at the Institute in Bangkok. Mike Fredrick, a new missionary, was able to come over from Cheing Mai during June to teach Hebrews and James as a block course. Rick Salmon came up from Bangkok the week after to teach Revelation and to start off our first Family Seminar. We are planning to have a family seminar each year during April or May. This year because of scheduling conflicts we had to plan it during the planting season (June-July). They prepare the fields then wait for the rains to commence. Once the rains commence they have to start planting right then. So this year we split the seminar into two 2-day meetings a week apart. If the start of the rains commenced one week we should be okay for the other week. Jay, one of the men that graduated from the institute in Bangkok last year, was able to come up from Bangkok for a month and help put down tile in the new two room Sunday School building while teaching Bible Study Methods to a couple of the students. On top of that we had him teaching sign language 4 nights a week. God bless you all Thomas & Kannika Tucker Sent By:
