Dear Pastor and Church,                                                                          Jan.- Feb. 2008

     "My son's nose is swollen, has pus oozing out, and stinks. We have been to the doctor twice," says the lady. The four year old fidgets as the doctor leans the boy's head back and looks into the nose. "It started about two months ago" says the lady. The doctor grabs a pair of tweezers and begins to work up in the nose. The kid fidgets even more as an object begins to appear. A nail? No, a rivet. Soon afterwards another young lady received her medicine and asked to go back to the witnessing room. She wanted to become a Christian. We are coming up to noon of the second day with a medical team from Joplin, Missouri.
     On February 27th we had a medical team set up at the church in Huey Saa. After the people registered we called 5 to 6 of them into the witnessing room. We explained why we were here with a short explanation of the Gospel. Then they went in to see the doctors. While getting a check up the doctors would ask them questions about what they heard in the witnessing room. While waiting for their medicine we had people witnessing to them one on one. We had over 300 people attend for free medical. We were very surprised that so many people came. Some who are strongly against the church and even one of the witch doctors came. There were 12 professions of faith and 9 people interested. We are now involved in follow up.
     The next day we did the same thing at the school in Pha-ya-meng-rai where Pra-doe is working. We had three professions of faith and nine others interested in the gospel out of over 100 that came.
     We rejoice over the marriage (Feb. 14th) of Pra-doe and Pan. Pra-doe has been working in Pha-ya-meng-rai as a single for two years now. They both graduated from the Bible institute in 2006.
