Matt & Beverly were approved in August, 2007, to be WBF missionaries to Australia.  Both Matt and Beverly were born in California and Matt served in the Army for ten years.  They surrendered to full-time service while stationed in Hawaii in 2003.

The Thorpes' sending church is Pleasantview Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas.  They have two children, Rebecca and Brandon.
