Dear Fellow Servants.

Beyond a shadow of a doubt we know that the Lord "put us together" at this time in our lives. Now is the time of much prayer and readjustment. Our spiritual goals and desires for continuing service and missionary outreach are utmost in our minds; we wait for the Lord to reset, renew, and redirect our path, together.

Recently Bob preached a challenging sermon at our home church designed to encourage the older members. Is there ever an age or time limit when we are declared no longer effective in the Ministry of spreading the Gospel? I don't think so....  Remember Caleb when he perhaps shouted, "... As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now....   Now therefore GIVE ME THIS MOUNTAIN..." Joshua 14:11-12a.

There are yet spiritual mountains to be conquered!! We still have the "calling", the strength, and the will to go up and take possession of lost souls and. perhaps, discouraged Christians! There yet remains a work to be accomplished for the Kingdom by either going physically, giving financially, or praying fervently. We all can do ALL three of these!

Unexpected doors here swing open. We have had the opportunity to speak in several Public Schools on Career Day. We define what a missionary is, what the qualifications are, and introduce children to the thought that they can be saved through faith in Jesus Christ, and plant the idea that God may call them to be missionaries as well. How interesting it is to understand that these children speak two languages....  Consider this: a Mission Field in our own backyard!! Perhaps there is this possibility in your area!

We will soon be visiting churches to acquaint you with our ministry goals, offer words of encouragement, remind you that souls are in Heaven because of your missionary outreach, and to thank you personally for your support of our continuing Brazilian Ministry. We also welcome the opportunity to speak to Sunday School classes, Men and Ladies Groups, Teens, Vacation Bible schools, and children's groups. Bob is an experienced preacher/teacher, and is waiting to be invited to speak. We look forward to being with you. God Bless you!
