Dear Prayer Partners.

Meditating on the great things that our great God has done for us is a right way to start the New Year.

We would like to tell just a couple of the great things God has done for us. First of all, we thank God for giving

us faithful supporting churches that constantly pray for our needs. It is a great comfort and encouragement to

know that our prayer requests are remembered and brought before our Almighty God. Paul's letters often

framed the words "pray for me" because he knew the key to success in his ministry was prayer. We thank you;

and we ask you to continue to hold us and our ministry up by continuing to pray for us!

This last year was a tremendous struggle. Our enemy is waging a powerful war in Brazil; and each

year the ungodly seem to be gaining ground. The false churches are everywhere and they are full of those

that are blinded as Christ put it, "the blind leading the blind". Praise the Lord, He has done great things for us

Our church has a group of Christians that stand strong in their convictions and they are witnessing constantly.

Our Sunday School is continuing to grow, many days we have more then 25 in one class. We have plans to

soon divide this class. We have 3 teachers that Helen just completed training. We have a growing group of

adolescents. Pray God will supply us with a couple to teach these adolescents.

Our God has done great things in supplying the needs for

our construction. Despite the raising prices and the devaluation

of the dollar, the Lord has supplied the means to continue the

construction. Our building now has the roof almost completed,        

and we are working on the floors. We have ordered the outside

doors and will soon be installing them.    What a great victory!

Many are commenting –“Look what God is doing” may our Lord

always receive all the Glory!  Pray God will supply a way to buy

windows for our church building  an expense of $2,000.                             

PRAYER REQUESTS: Continue to pray for the salvation of these men: Jose, Ze, Carlos, Raimundo, Carlos,

Barboso, Carlos, these are all husbands of our ladies. Pray for the spiritual growth of these new converts:

Jefferson, Lane, Janaina, Paulinha, Lucineide, Riatison, Rule, and Jailma. Pray for us during the month of

February the month of Camaval that each one of our people will win new spiritual victories. We desire to

reach another area called Coqueiros it is a rural area on the other side of our city about twenty minutes away.

Pray God will open doors. Helen and I will both be teaching in the Bible Institute this semester. We ask for

guidance and power to prepare each student for their future ministries. It is only with your prayers and

financial help that we can continue in this ministry. May God bless you for all you do.
