Our 2001 graduation of our Bible Institute
was held on June 23. We wanted to share
testimonies from three of our graduates this year. We trust they will be a blessing to you and also we ask that you
would pray for these dear Mexican Nationals, that their zeal would not
diminish.
Yours in Jesus’ Name
Don and Mary Rowland
Brothers, May God bless you. Gal. 1:3-4
MY TESTIMONY:
I was in charge of the storage in a
factory. I had never gone to a Christian Church. I rejected all that was a part of the Catholic Church. But, when I started my job, I met a lady
named Veronica. She invited to church
me for almost a month. I passed this
time with some mental and physical problems – the results of the type of life I
had lived.
But one Sunday Morning, the last week of
November 1998, I went to Veronica’s church and I accepted Christ as my
Savior. Remembering some days earlier
they celebrated Holloween at my job and I felt very bad to be there. I asked Sister Veronica why I felt that way
and she told me that the Holy Spirit was convicting me and He was not pleased
with those things. After that I got
saved.
Two months later I entered the Bible
Institute to prepare myself and thank the Lord I graduate June 2001.
I am 32 years old and single. After I was saved I stopped dating the lady
I was seeing because she was married. I
have tried to dedicate myself to study hard, but above all I want to win souls
to Christ.
I have a route that averages 70 adults and
children. There are six people on my
route that go out soul wining with me.
There are two that I won to the Lord who are now studying in the
institute and there are two more prospects for next year.
My plans after graduation are to work in a
mission or church for a year. With the
passing of time I will pray and work to start a new mission work. I believe God has a place already for me.
I am praying for a place in the state of
Baja California, but the decision is the Lord’s. In the meantime I want to
continue to win souls and keep making disciples and start a new mission.
Oh that the Lord would bless you. 2 Cor. 12:5
By
Maria Xochil Racicot:
My husband, Andrew John Racicot, and I both are students at the Independent
Fundamental Bible Baptist Institute. My
dear husband and I are among the 2001 graduates.
My plans for the future are to work beside
my husband as we serve in the ministry.
The Sublime Prayer Baptist Church started a mission in the neighborhood
of Presidents in Tijuana. My husband and I have the privilege to be in charge
of this mission. We have been in the
mission eight months. We found a nice
house to rent. Several generous
churches have paid the first year’s rent for us. Little by little we are growing.
We have 7 faithful adults and some 25 children. It is a joy to see how a mission begins and
to se it advance forward to be a church.
We have a young couple that helps us with
the visitation in Presidentes.
Presidentes has a population of 15000.
There are many four-story apartment buildings with four to six people in
each apartment and they are very small and crowded.
I would ask you to remember us in your
prayers. We lack workers, teachers and
those to go out and evangelize with us.
Also pray for me as we are having our first child near the first of
July. Pray that I will have a normal
delivery. Pray for us. We know that some pray for us and by that we
have arrived to this point. Pray that
we will be blessed more in the ministry as well as spiritually and materially.
I want to thank you beforehand for those
who desired to know about us students.
For me it is a pleasure to know that someone is interested and to know
what we are doing and what we will be doing.
In closing, I want to mention some plans I
have. Pray for these:
1.
To continue my piano classes
2.
To have a ladies group
3.
That my children’s class will grow
4.
This fourth is the most important to
me:
I desire to be a
loving wife in caring for my beloved husband
I desire to be a loving mother in caring for new baby.
I close with profound gratitude for you.

Brother
Juan Ciriaco Aguilar Galaviz:
My Conversion:
In 1990 I move to Tijuana in the
neighborhood of Lomas Taurinas where my brother José lived. My brother was the first in my family to
get saved under Pastor Eriberto Perez who by his constant persistence won my entire
family to Christ, including me.
In 1993 I decided to go to Bible Collage to prepare but I changed my
mind and kept working. But I still had
the desire to study. At last I decided
to prepare myself for the Lord’s work and in 1997 I entered the Independent
Fundamental Bible Baptist Institute.
Brothers, my plans and purposes after
graduation are to continue in my church helping for a year at the Mont Calvary
Baptist Church. My pastor has advised
me to do this.
One of my plans right now is to make seven
booklets about discipleship and basic doctrines. A Problem I have is that most of the work I have done was lost as
I was using my uncle’s computer and it crashed. But I have already finished one booklet on the assurance of
salvation.
After the year in my home church with my
pastor my church may send me to Tecate to open a new mission work there.
For the present I will continue what I have
been doing for the last nine years. That is wining souls and bringing two our
three of them to church each week.
