DON AND MARY ROWLAND
MISSIONARIES TO OLD MEXICO
NOVEMBER
2007
Dear
Praying Friends,
Thank
you for faithful prayers in
response to our News Letters,
reports and petitions. We
thank the Lord for blessing us with health and supply for the ministry
here in Mexico. Ephesians

FUNDAMENTAL BIBLE BAPTIST INSTITUTE
Our fall semester began the
first week of September. The Lord blessed as 13 new students enrolled
giving us a student body of 29. Every
year it seems each class has its own personality.
We are so thankful to see that these students are serious about
the reason they have entered the institute.
Their attitude of cooperation and genuine desire to serve the
Lord is a great blessing.
In addition to their
classes, tests and homework, the students are given practical work
experience assignments. Which
include campus chores, door to door visitation, participation in Sunday
Services and Sunday school classes.
Brother Ángel Fiero, a 2006
graduate, was called to pastor the Mount Calvary Baptist Church in
Tijuana. Brother Ángel’s
sending church is the Fountain of Life Baptist Church in Ensenada. Pastor Ángel teaches in the institute and has sent
several students to the institute.
Pray for Pastor Ángel.
ORPHANAGE
“CASA HOGAR”: The
building project for the orphanage ministry is going slowly.
There is interest by a couple of churches to send a construction
group. Progress has been
made on the foundation. We
expect to see the foundation and slab completed this month.
The children continue to grow healthier and in their
knowledge of the Lord. The Christian
School ministry started the school year in September.
The institute buildings are used for the class rooms for the
Christian School. Please be
praying for the Lord’s continual supply for these ministries.
WILD
FIRES
You have heard the news about the wild fires
in southern California. Our
town, Tecate, on the Mexico California border, was spared damage by the “Harris Fire”.
The 60 - 90 mile an hour wind gusts blew the fire past our town
missing it by just two miles. We had wind damage to our home as did many of our neighbors.
We were even spared from most of the smoke.
We thank the Lord for His watch care and pray for those who lost
their homes and were harmed in the fires.
In Jesus’ Name
Don and Mary
