Dear Praying Friends,

       Thank you all so much for your interest and prayers for us.  We       pray our Lord continues to bless you abundantly. Ephesians 1:3

We received an update from El Camino Baptist Church in the Tijuana area.  On “Friend’s Day” the attendance was over 600 with 69 first time adult visitors plus many children. 

The orphanage building is completed and the children have been moved in.  The campus kitchen has been moved to the new building and the old kitchen is now a classroom.   Thank you for your prayers for this ministry of El Camino Baptist Church.

2001 Bible Institute graduates Bro. Andrés Racicot and his wife, Xochitl, started a mission in an area of Tijuana called El Rubí.  They have seen many saved and have baptized many.  They are close to an army post and have opportunity to witness to the solders.  A police station nearby gives them another place of ministry.  Bro. Andrés has regular Sunday and Wednesday services for the people of El Rubí.  Bro. Andrés called us a few days ago and asked us to pray concerning an offer to purchase the house they use for services.  They are praying for $40,000.00 for the house.   Please pray for this new church ministry and pray for the Racicot’s as they faithfully serve the Lord in El Rubí.

“THE ROWLAND HOUSE”
At the Baptist Bible Institute

The Bible institute honored us by naming one of their buildings after us.  “THE ROWLAND HOUSE” is housing for married students.  This has four one bed room apartments each with a kitchen and full bath.  We are so blessed to have had a part in the Bible Institute ministry of El Camino Baptist Church since its founding in 1995.   Most of the graduates we had the privilege of teaching are in full time ministry today.  The 2009 fall semester is in full swing with 35 students.  Praise the Lord.
