EL CAMINO BAPTIST CHURCH

Pastor Robert Walker reports that El Camino Baptist Church’s  Sunday Morning service attendance is near 400.  There are always first time visitors and professions of faith in the services.    There were 10 saved and 15 surrendered to fulltime service during Youth Camp this summer.  Several said they are planning to attend the Bible Institute this fall.

FUNDAMENTAL BIBLE BAPTIST INSTITUTE

In June, 2007, we celebrated the eleventh graduation of our Bible Institute.  There were three graduates this year.  Along with sending these new graduates out with our blessing we were also blessed to see many former graduates in attendance.  It was a joy to see many of them serving the Lord in various church and missionary ministries.  It was also a joy to see those who found their mate during their years in the institute, now married and faithfully serving the Lord.  Please pray for these young graduates as they step out on faith to do the work the Lord has called them to.    Pray also for the new students arriving for the fall semester which begins the first week of September.

ORPHANAGE

“CASA HOGAR”, an orphanage ministry of El Camino Baptist Church is a continual blessing.  One by one the children are coming to know the Lord.   They have never lived in such a loving, God centered atmosphere.  Since our last report more excavation of the 40x20 building site has been done. There has been some delay because of the terrain.  Please pray that problems with the septic system will be corrected soon. Pray also for the Lord’s continual supply for this building project and for this ministry.

Continue to pray for the Lord’s guidance and supply concerning a Christian School ministry for the orphans and children of the church.  The school will be located on our Bible Institute campus.   

PRAY for the family of Brother Eduardo Moctezuma, one of our honor graduates.  He was in the hospital for TB and suddenly passed away with pneumonia.
