AUGUST 2004 NEWSLETTER

Dear Praying Friends,

“Bless the Lord O my soul, and all that is within me bless His Holy name.”

Our home church, Grace Baptist Church, Pompano Beach FL ordained Don in July of 1972 and sent us as missionaries to Old Mexico. July 2004 was our 32nd anniversary of ministry here in Old Mexico. We are thankful for the Lord’s tremendous blessings during these many years. We have seen six churches started and have ministered in three Bible institutes. We have seen many souls come to the Lord; many young Mexicans taught and sent out as pastors and missionaries to their own people. We have experienced the Lord’s presence, protection and deliverance through many trials.

La Iglesia Bautista El Camino (The Way Baptist Church)

· El Camino Baptist Church located on the same property as our institute is a year old and running near 200. We have plans to build a 60 x 200 building which will be used by the church but mostly for our institute ministry as a kitchen, mess hall, library and offices. Last summer one 40 x 60 slab was poured. In July, Community Baptist Church from Stuart, FL came and poured a 60 x 100 additional foundation for the building. We praise the Lord for His supply for our institute ministry.

BIBLE INSTITUTE: (Fundamental Bible Baptist Institute)

· We graduated eight students in June. Several are on mission survey trips this summer and others have already entered ministry as pastors, church staff or missionaries. September begins our ninth year since beginning the institute. We are excited and looking forward to the fall semester as we expect to have a much larger enrollment this year. We have students coming from eleven churches in four states.

THE NEW HIGHWAY:

· The graders and dirt movers have reached and passed our institute property. We will be blessed with great convenience in getting to the institute ranch. Another blessing will be many new homes that will be built near our church. There still is the one time $30,000.00 property tax to pay because they say the highway will increase our property value. From the founding of our institute God has supplied every financial need. Please pray with us for His wisdom and supply concerning the highway tax assessment.
