DON AND MARY ROWLAND Dear
Praying Friends, Thank you
for your faithful prayers and responses to our news letters, reports and
petitions. The Way Baptist Church: ·
The Lord
has blessed the church’s building program as it continues to progress well.
The steel building is closed in, the doors and windows have been
installed. Stucco is going on now. Everyone
is able to sit inside for the services now.
Each week souls are saved and converts are baptized.
·
The
mission’s conference in April was a success.
What a blessing to see these Mexican brothers give to missions.
The church is supporting 8 missionaries and several of them were present
for the conference. Pray with us that the Lord will continue to call missionaries
and pastors to His service from this ministry. INDEPENDENT
BIBLE BAPTIST INSTITUTE: ·
GRADUATION: the highlight of the year is set for June 11, 2005.
Just a few more weeks of classes and final exams and this year is over.
Here are testimonies from some of the graduates.
·
Flavio Herandez
Martínez: “At 16 I
was saved at the First Baptist Church of Texcoco in Mexico City while studying
at the University of Mexico. After
moving to Ensenada I joined the Fountain of Life Baptist Church and entered the
institute. After
Graduation
I desire to start a church in southern Mexico.
For now I will work full time in my church until the Lord opens that
door. Pray that I will always be
surrendered to the Lord’s will as He confirms His calling in me. Pray that I will be even more burdened for lost souls”. ·
Lucio Herediz:
“I heard the gospel for years on an English radio station and received
Jesus as my Savior. I joined the
Prayer Baptist Church and a short time later I enrolled in the Bible Institute.
After Graduation
I will continue to work in my home church until the Lord calls me to
another place”. ·
Marcos
Fabricio:
“I was saved August 3, 2000 at Youth Camp and surrendered my life to
full time service. I serve as Youth Pastor of THE Way Baptist Church. After
Graduation I will continue as Youth Pastor for two more years. Pray
with me, because on June 20 I will ask my girl friend’s father for her hand in
marriage. We plan to be used of the Lord to start a new church. Pray
for a job to meet our needs”. ·
Please pray
for these young men and others as they go on to the work the Lord has called
them to. ANSWERED
PRAYER AND REQUEST: (Personal) ·
Thank you
for responding to our prayer request concerning the mobile home. Although
it was donated, we have spent over $2500.00 so far on transporting, importing,
set up and repairs. We are praying
we will make our goal of having it livable by the end of June.
Please pray with us about this project. FURLOUGH:
This September we will begin our next furlough.
We are looking forward to visiting as many of you as we can and giving a
field report. Use our e-mail
dmrtkt@juno.com to contact us to schedule our report. In Jesus’ Name
