FUNDAMENTAL BIBLE BAPTIST INSTITUTE
This is the first year since
starting our Bible Institute that we have not lost any of our first year
students. We pray that this
class will continue through the end of the school year in June.
God is using each student in the church’s ministry of evangelism.
We rejoice to see how God has blessed the institute and the
students.
ORPHANAGE
In February construction began on the children’s home by a
group of workers from
Mansfield
Baptist
Temple in
Ohio. We
were amazed and encouraged by how fast they worked.
In just five days they accomplished the erecting of the first and
second floor walls, interior walls and some electrical work. The roof trusses were assembled but not set. We are so thankful
for this beginning but there is still a long way to go before the building
is complete. Pray for the
Lord’s supply for the completion of the new home for these precious
children. We look forward to
the children being in their new home. (See photos below)
SNOW
STORM
Some of you who live in snow
country will laugh, but we recently had a snow storm. Mary and I both grew
up in
Wisconsin
so we know about cold and deep snow. We
have lived in the
Baja
Peninsula
since March 1984 and this is the second time we have seen snow at our
altitude. Anyway, we received
about half an inch of snow (now you may laugh). It disappeared as the sun
rose. After the recent wild
fires here the countryside was left black with soot, this new snow was
pure and white in comparison, like our souls are washed clean from the
blackness of sin by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
