Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,  Another year is swiftly coming to a close, and we want to send you, our warmest Christmas wishes.  Our hearts are full of thankfulness, as we end the Old Year, and begin the New.  Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas!

H  HOW thankful we are for our family!  David and Sue and Alex (10), Steve and Jody, and Cory (18) Ben (15) Maggie ( 9) and Katie Jamie (6), and for our foster daughter Jamie, coming back into our lives this year!  What a special answer to prayer!

A  AND, we are grateful for your prayers and support, for  without them, we could not remain here, serving the Lord.  Also, we thank God for His watch-care over us, this past year, including protection, from the volcano Mt Merapi , that erupted , just a few miles from the city, we live in.

P PRAISE  My, how we praise the Lord , for the 12 adults that were saved ,and baptized by Pdt Yohanes Solman in November.  Two were from Pdt Yohanes church in Sala tiga, and ten were from a church in Boyoli, where Pdt Yohanes has been pastoring, since the former Pastor ( Andrias) passed away with cancer.

P POURED out blessings from God, for the Bible Institute in Purworejo.  They are working towards accreditation, and need much prayer, as much money is needed. However, with accreditation, the school can continue to give out degrees, so the graduating students can teach in schools etc. to supplement their income, as they work in the Lords vineyard   Pray for the Director, Pdt Suyono, and pray for the Yayasan, headed up by Pdt Antoro.  It was an extra blessing that our home church, Cornerstone Baptist took the school on for new support!

Y YOUR response to our needs: So far we have received $350 for the Iman Bpt church in Purworejo , from a church in Hawaii, also we received from others, a gift  of  $500. and a gift of $400. This is towards the goal of $10.000 so the church can have its own bldg.  Please keep praying.  God is able!

N  NEWS  from Jogya:  Really happy about the news that $500. was sent in for the Agape Bpt church in Jogya to have their own bldg, and another amount of $400.OO   came in.  They will need at least $20.000 to get their bldg.  But, this is a good start, and we feel blessed.

E  EVERY Christmas program so far has been a blessing. Hearts were touched.  The Gospel was shared!

W  WE plan to have a Christmas gathering, in our home on the 25th, with one of our churches, coming for the day.

Y   YOUR  prayers are much needed, as we continue to minister here, in this needy land.

E  EVERY  gift we received is a blessing, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for your love for us, and for our ministry.

A  AWESOME,  describes our God!  Thankful is what we are for Him, for His gift of salvation, His protection, His  love.

R  is for our REDEEMER, whose birth we celebrate at Christmas, the Best Gift of all! /  REJOICING!  Because of our many blessings!
