Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,  May our Lord grant you a wonderful Christmas, filled with many blessings, and a Happy and Blessed New Year.

We arrived in the states on Sept 9th. Our Pastor, Dr Jerry Siler came to Cincinnati to
pick us up.  Carole's sister Joyce Douglas passed away on Sept 11th.  We are so thankful we made it home in time, to be with Joyce for the last day and a half, before the Lord took her home. Thanks so much to each of you that sent a card, flowers, or a gift.  Any money received was put towards her funeral.

Pastor and Mrs. Rick Washburn and the Vandalia Baptist Temple,  have  graciously allowed us to make their mission house our home, when we are not on the road, and we are thankful.

Since being in America, we have been in several mission conferences, and have been in many churches in Ohio, some in Tennessee, Michigan and Louisiana.  It is a blessing to be able to share Indonesia with the churches  Pray for us as we travel. Jeff Blackburn was kind enough to let us use a nice van for our travels.

The churches we work with in Indonesia are all doing well, but need much prayer.  Agape Baptist Church in Jogya led by Pdt Tom Atung needs prayer that  they will be able to meet in their rented building, until they are able to get their own place,  Faith Baptist Church in Purworejo with Pdt Robin leading them, also needs a building, of their own.  Right before we left Indonesia, 5 young people followed the Lord in baptism from Faith Baptist and we thank the Lord. Pray that Pdt Yohanes Solman, Cornerstone Baptist Church will soon be able to meet in their church building on Sunday morning, as well as Sunday night.

Before we departed from Indonesia, a graduation was held at our Bible Institute, where Pdt Sujono is the director of the school.  5 students graduated and we had about 150 attending  the graduation.  Carole and I, along with several other teachers took part. Pray for the money to build a dorm on the campus so we will be able to house the students.

A young couple from Agape Baptist Church. asked us to  give them lessons on How to know Gods Will For Your Life.  We gave them the lessons, and they both felt the Lord calling them to full time Christian service. Pray for this young couple, Bro and Mrs. Philipus as they follow Christ.

Among the many needs we have, we would like to send some boxes to Indonesia.  The cost is $55. per box.  We have many items ready to be sent, and if each of our churches would help send one or two boxes, it would be a tremendous help.

Thanks to Pastor and Mrs. Joe Sharp and their church in Louisiana for the $1,500 they sent to help with the needs of Pdt Andrias, an Indonesian pastor who has cancer, and is in very serious condition.  Without the chemo, he will die.

We are on furlough, and will be in touch with many of you.  If you would like to have us for a mission conference or a service, please call me on my cell phone:  937 789 3985.  Thank you in advance.

Brethren, pray for us.  Without your prayers and support we could not continue our ministry in Indonesia. His for Souls,  Dave and Carole Ross
