Dear Pastor and Praying friends, At present we are in Erie, Pa. and will be heading for New York in two days. Thus far we have been in Ohio, Ky. Tenn. Michigan, Texas and Oklahoma. A few weeks back, while returning home from Oklahoma, we hit a deer and totaled our car. We thank God for His watch care over us.
Thanks so much for your prayers for Carole and her family, in the loss of her sister Darlene Chappelear. We spent much time by her bed side the past four months as she was in intensive care in the hospital, and then in rehab. She fought so hard to live, but we know she is in heaven now, from her own testimony. Pray for her 7 children, and 23 grandchildren. Our pastor, Dr. Jerry Siler had the funeral service, and we thank God for he and his dear wife Kay.
Please pray for the needs in Indonesia. This time we would like for you to especially pray for Pastor Yohanes Solmon. If 20 churches would give $50.00 we could get the $1,000.000 needed to finish his new church bldg in Solatiga. Will you have a part?
News flash from the field * * * Indonesia needs much prayer, the economy is very difficult, gas went up 87 % which sent all goods sky rocketing up 100 %. Over the past few months, 100 churches have been closed, 3 bombs went off in Bali, 3 girls were martyred on the island of Sulawesi, 3 ladies were imprisoned for witnessing on the island of Java. Please pray for the Indonesian people, for the missionaries and Christian workers and pastors. Philippians 4; 13, I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me.
Thanks for your prayers and support. We wish each of you a Very Happy Thanksgiving Day. We praise the Lord, this year we will be able to spend this special holiday at home with our 2 sons, their wives, and our 5 precious grand children.
