Dear Pastor and Praying Friends, Mark 16:
15 Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every
creature. We are so thankful to be a part of your mission
program, serving the Lord here in Indonesia, the worlds most populous
Moslem country.
We spent approximately one month in our mission in
Jogya, working with Pastor Julius. Please pray for he, his
wife and 2 little girls, and for the church. Next week we will
have our annual mission conference with Pdt. Antoro as the main
speaker. The church hopes to take on the the support of 3
missionaries this year. Please pray they make their goal, and that
lives will be changed and hearts will be blessed by the conference.
The church needs to contract their bldg for another year. Last
year it cost $1,000.000 This year it will go up some.
Pray for this need to be supplied. They hope to have their own
building one day which would such a blessing!
Brother Robin and his wife Mae and little girl Fenny
are doing fine with the work at Cangkrip. One of the men who has
been angry for a number of years, has started coming back to church
again, and is now very faithful. A family has joined us, since
our last letter. She was our member back when she was in her
teens. We have a time of sharing with a different family each week,
and we feel it is very beneficial. A husband of one of the
ladies sat in on our service twice lately. Please pray for his
salvation. Pray for Robin and Mae as they are expecting their
2nd child in March. Their contract is up soon on the place they use
for the church and their home, and it will cost them $300.00 to
recontract for the year. Pray for this need and for the need to
have their own church building. God is able!!
Yohanes Solmon and his wife Puji and two sons are doing
well in Solatiga. They have launched into a building
program. The foundation is in and a 3 meter high wall
around the first story of the bldg. They need to pour ( all by
hand) the floor of the 2nd story soon , as rainy season has
begun. Please pray for them. Please pray that God will
supply all of the needed funds for their very own church bldg. We are
very thankful to the church and the family that has made this possible
so far. To God be the glory! Also, pray for them as they
must recontract the place they are in now because the building is
still incomplete. The cost to rent will be $100
Praise the Lord, Erna a girl in the Carmel Baptist
Church in the mountains, was just saved , and Pastor Sudiran baptized
her.
Our Bible Institute is doing well. The director,
Pdt. Yakub is doing an excellent job. We have a graduation
coming up in December with 4 men preparing to graduate, two from our
school in Purworejo, one from Bali, and one from Solo.. Please
pray for our main school in Purworejo with 15 students this semester,
plus for each of the extension schools as well.
Thanks to the love gifts from a supporting church
in America, we have been able to help 2 different churches with needs
for schooling ( a very big need here) for 3 months in a row, and
Praise the Lord, they just sent in funds again!
