Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,                                                          MAY 2008

Greetings from Java, Indonesia.  Thanks so much for your prayers and support for our ministry  We are looking forward to our pastor, Jerry Siler, coming here in June for our Youth Retreat.

Last week, Agape Independent Baptist Church with Tom Atung Adi as the preacher, took the church on an outing to a mountain area.  Citra, a teen age girl, recently saved, followed the Lord in baptism, in a mountain pool.  Pray for an older man from Agape, Mr. Daniel.  He broke his toe while on this church outing.  Pdt Tom, his wife Zenny, and their 3 year old daughter Yolanda welcomed a new addition to their home recently.  A baby girl they named Gisella Mirachel Sharon was born by C-section.  Praise the Lord, some Christian brothers and sisters in the states, helped with this expense.

Next week, a committee from our Bible Institute, including Carole and I, will be attending an all day meeting concerning the plans we are making for accreditation. There are so many  things that need to be  accomplished before this can take place, not to mention the great expense.  But, without accreditation, eventually Bible Institutes will be closed, and this is the open door that allows  foreigners to come here to minister.  Please pray much.

Faith Independent Baptist Church in Purworejo, pastored by Pdt Robin is doing well.  They are so thankful for those who have given so the Sunday School kids can receive $5 per month for their school needs.  We hope to start this program in our other churches as well.  It is a real need.  Please be in prayer.

Pdt Yohanes Solmon continues to have services in Sala tiga, but is still not allowed to meet as a church on Sunday morning.  He holds his Sunday service on Sat night, and Sunday is used for prayer meeting and Bible study.  He is still able to have youth meetings, Sunday school, ladies and men's meeting, and a Wed. service.  Please make this a special matter of prayer.

Carole's English class (13 students) sang for the last fellowship meeting at the school.  They did very well    Pray for Andrias and Murnie two young people who are students, and just married.  They want to be used of God.

Thanks again for the part you have in our ministry.  Pray more souls will come to know our Saviour.  Brethren, pray for us.
