Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,

The Lord has been so good to us in our travels..  Since  our last letter, we have been in many churches, and a number of mission conferences. We thank the Lord for the opportunity to see these dear folks that pray for, and support our ministry. Also, we are happy to be in new churches.

We were in Pastor Mike Gray's mission conference in Carlisle Ohio.  From there, we had two days to get to Jacksonville, Florida where we were in Pastor Donnie Miles mission conference. (While in Jacksonville, we were able  to see two of Carole's nephews and some of the family (Gene & Becky and Terry Chappelear and his grandson, also Carole's step sister Sue Margret Reesor and her husband Wayne.)  After the Florida conference, we had two days to get to Iowa for Pastor Jim Pointers mission conference. As his conference ended, we had two days to get to Ohio, for  Pastor Jerry Siler's (our home churches) mission conference.  Each of these conferences were such a blessing.

We then had a few days to get packed and ready to leave for Texas, plus we were able  to celebrate Easter with our children and grandchildren, this was our 2nd time with all of them, and our last time, before we depart for Indonesia.

We had 3 days to get to West Texas where we just completed a special mission conference with Pastor Randy Cotton's church.

Things are going well in Indonesia.  In Jan. a fellowship of the Independent Baptist pastors and missionaries was held in our area, with over 200 in attendance.

Pdt Yohanes Solman has a young adult who has been saved and is ready to be baptized.

We have a special need for money to purchase two buildings for two of our churches to meet in.  We believe this would make things much easier for them to meet without always having problems.  Amount needed is $ 20.000 for one bldg and $12.000 for the other one. Please pray about this very real need.

God bless you all is our prayer.  Keep us and our Indonesian brethren in your prayers.  Lord willing, we will leave for Indonesia in August.
