Where in the world is Ecuador?


The Neills were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries in 1962. Their field of service was Ecuador, South America.  They continue to work in Ecuador visiting the national pastors and churches, working with the Institute training the Ecuadorians as leaders and pastors.  Another part of their ministry is helping local churches in the construction of S.S. buildings.

Along with these ministries Mel and Charlene were approved in 2001 to work with the WBF Bible Ministry in providing Bibles for missionaries in their language. 

Mel was saved in 1953 and Charlene was saved at age six in 1943. Mel is a 1961 graduate of Bible Baptist Seminary.

They were married in Ardmore, Oklahoma in 1954.

Their sending church is the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Jasper, Georgia.

They have three daughters - Sharon, Melanie and Marsha.
