TERRY and TAMI MORSE
WBF Missionaries to
FRENCH POLYNESIA
August
6, 2008
Dear
Friends,
We returned home this weekend from Chicago, after turning in our papers for the visas for
French Polynesia. It seemed to have gone very well,
and we thank you for your prayers.
The officer that dealt with us said that the papers do not have to
go to
Paris, but are mailed directly to
Papeete, in
French Polynesia. She did state that it could take
up to 4 months, but Mr. Win with immigration in Papeete
told me it took about 6 weeks. All
this goes without saying that we need to be approved.
We are praying and trusting the Lord to work that we might be approved
and have them very soon.
I had considered trying to go to
Quebec for a few weeks to help a missionary up there, but the French Consulate needed
our passports for the duration. If
approved, they attach the visas in the passports.
In any regard, we cannot leave the States until they are returned to us.
So we will concentrate on local meetings, and are preparing for the final
move. Once again, we ask for your
patience in these circumstances. We
need your prayers and help financially, and we are very grateful to have a small
part in your World Wide Missions program. To us, the wait is very long, but the
Lord has His timing, and we try to do the one missionary said: Pray as if all
depended upon God, work as if it all depended upon you!
God
bless you all for your faithfulness,
In
Christ,
Terry,
