TERRY and TAMI MORSE
WBF Missionaries to
FRANCE
July 26, 2004
Dear Friends,
Just returned from camp near Cahors. We have good news to share with you.
We received our Visas, thank you for praying! The only "hiccup" is that my
passport expires the first of Dec., thus the visa is only good until then.
Problem is, Tami's is good until next summer. We hope to renew both our
passports, then re-file for the visas again in Dec. It would pose a problem if
Tami's was 6 months after mine. So thank you for praying, and we would
appreciate prayers about the visas in December.
Tami led Emmanuelle (the 15 year old daughter of Solofo and Claudie, who have
been visiting the church from time to time. They usually go once a month to the
Reform Church in Chambery, which is a long ways away.) to the Lord several weeks
ago! Praise the Lord for this new birth into the Kingdom of God!
At Camp, all went well. I will share more in our newsletter (hardcopy) next
month about the events during those three weeks. The best news is that, as well
as I can determine, 15 children made a profession of faith in Christ. The camp
is well run, with a Bible lesson in the morning, good solid preaching each
night, and the kids always respond to three weeks of the Gospel. We are
thankful to have had a part in it. Next year will be 30 years since Paul
Dedeyan established it, and over the years many children have been saved, and
now Paul is seeing children come whose parents were saved years ago.
Thank you for praying! God bless, Terry Morse and Family
PS. Please continue to pray for us and others here in Europe concerning
finances, as the dollar is still very week. We, as others are considering and
doing, might need to return to the States for more support. We have lost over
50% of our buying power in 2 years, and prices keep going up. We received a
12.7% increase in Medical Insurance, too. It grieves me that the costs are so
very high, although it seems reasonable considering the costs in the States.
Missionaries often have health problems, and insurance is necessary. Then too,
we cannot stay in France without proof of Medical Insurance. Thank you ... tm
