Dear
Praying Partners, God
is continuing to prove that he is faithful in our lives.
We have seen one new church begin to take us on for financial support
since March and several of our supporting churches have raised our support a
little to bring us to 80% of our needed amount before we return to England.
We praise the Lord for all of those who have raised us while on this
furlough which is making a difference.
Please pray earnestly for an additional 20% to be raised by next April. The
Lord has kept our family safe in our travels and we have already driven some
11,000 miles in the past few months.
Churches have taken great care of us and we look forward to being with
several new churches as well as some of our supporting churches.
Please pray that the Lord would continue to work in the lives of his
people in the area of missions. Faith
Baptist Church, Newbury England, continues to do well in our absence and they
will be having their fourth annual missions conference next week.
Missionary Layton Kelly, from RU ministries in Ireland, will be the
keynote speaker. Bro. Kelly will be bringing along a man from his ministry who
has been through their addictions program and has graduated and is now sharing
his testimony of how the Lord delivered him from drugs.
Please pray for the mission conference that the Lord would challenge
the church to do more in the areas of giving, going and praying for world
evangelization. We
appreciate your care for us as your missionaries and would ask that you
continue to pray for Jim’s health as he will need to have an operation this
summer to remove several kidney stones. Please pray for our daughter, Abigail,
who needs to see the specialist regarding her eye condition. Also, continue to
pray for us as we travel to churches and present to them what the Lord is
doing in England. May
