Dear Pastor and Co-labours,
As always we give thanks to God for all He is doing.
In these last two months we and many of our people here have been
going through trails, illnesses, financial and two were falsely accused
of illegal behavior and while being supportive and helpful we all know
bad things sometime happen to good people and through it all we learn to
trust in the Lord more. Please pray with us for the Lord’s people here
as we can see the enemy trying to discourage.
The Spanish church is going well. We still have new visitors almost
every week. It took five years of prayer before Cristina accepted the
Lord as Savior. That was exceptionally long, but she is now very
faithful and the last two weeks has brought a friend to church who we
gave a Bible to, she says she gets goose bumps reading it, it truly is
that powerful when one is searching for the truth. Please pray for her,
Nuria, as we feel she will accept the Lord as Savior very shortly. Also,
Gustavo and Eilean are also new ones that need salvation.
The African church is
also doing well and we see them growing spiritually. The men and woman
have taken on responsibilities in the church. They are doing most of the
preaching and teaching themselves and encouraging one another with
visits and prayers, one for another. The men who preach and teach still
need Dave’s help and instruction, but we thank the Lord for their
dedication and willingness to learn.
We are expecting great
things this year in the work here in
Spain
. We are still having trouble with the American dollar exchange rate. It
is almost $1.50 to 1 Euro. Just when it looks like it is going to get
better it gets worse. We are trusting in the Lord to supply our needs
and thank you for your faithful financial and prayer support that the
work of God might prosper.
Prayer request:
In
His Service,
The salvation of Nuria, Gustavo.
