December, 2005 Dear Pastors and Friends: We would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Maybe 2006 will be the year of our Lord's return. We would also like to thank everyone for all the Christmas Gifts and Cards. May the Lord bless each one of you. We have been working non-stop since our last prayer letter. The new work is going very well. We had 11 people accept the Lord in November and 12 so far in December. We baptized 4 last Sunday and have 6 more to baptize next Sunday. Every Saturday we have our church visitation and soul winning and the people are excited about going out and visiting their family and friends. We have had a high attendance of 61 on Sunday Morning. The population is listed at 90,000 for this Island and I believe they all, are either related or know each other. The only place you can get your mail is at the post office. They do not deliver mail house to house. I went to the post office and asked if I could get a post office box. They told me it might be a two-year wait. I was telling Lorraine, a young woman in our church who seems to have relatives in all the right places, and she said tomorrow we will go to the post office. She spoke to a young woman there and told me to. pay $2 and they gave me a key to my own post office box. So I now have a post office box that cost me $2 and no rental fee for life. You will notice we have a different box number listed below on this letter. Lorraine has 5 children and has been living with a man for 7 years. Yesterday, the 26th of December, I married these two. Her husband was born and raised a Catholic. He started coming to church with her the very first service we had. After a few weeks she said he wanted to talk to me. He accepted the Lord as his Saviour and yesterday they were married and next Sunday I will baptize mm. His whole family is in an uproar because he has changed his ''religion''. But he is saved, he knows he is saved and he is determined to serve the Lord. Praise the Lord. I'll write a PS to this story. After the wedding ceremony was over yesterday we went to the back of the church and all the people had gathered together with roses for Dottie and they had catered an anniversary dinner for us because it was our wedding anniversary. BJ and Lorraine wanted to get married on our wedding anniversary. What a wonderful day we had. Please pray for BJ and Lorraine and continue to pray for us here. We are all excited about the Lord's work. Thank you for your support and may the Lord bless you all. Our new field address is P. O. Box 506590 CK, Saipan, MP 96950. Our e-mail address is: dmmdlm@itecnmi.com In His faithful service, David & Dottie McClure
