June & July 2004

Dear Pastors and Friends:

I do hope you will forgive us for sending this prayer letter out a "little" 1ate. Our electric has been going off and on and we have been having power surges to accompany this for the past three months. We have one computer for the church and my personal computer and they have both crashed. I have them in the shop trying to get them repaired but its been three weeks and I am gradually giving up hope. I am using a computer in a shop in down town Montego Bay getting this letter typed and I hope you will over look the quality and the black and white color.

Things have settled down in the church at Faith after all the problems we have had with our preacher boy and his wife and God has started to bless the work again. Thank you for all your prayers. We needed them very much for a few months there. We have had a lot of outside interference with this work and 1 thought demons had invaded us there for a while. But, as I said, God has started to bless again and we have had some wonderful services in recent weeks.

The family that has lived near us for many years has started to come to church. Dave and Pam have lived together for over 29 years and never married. They have 10 children. Pam's sister also lives with them and she has 5 children. Plus, several of the older children already have children of their own. About 8 I believe. The entire family has been coming to every service. They have told me they want their whole family to be saved and baptized and serve the Lord. In face, we have had 22 people saved during June and July. Praise the Lord.

Not only do they want their family saved but they have been working on the neighbors and their other relatives. We are seeing people saved almost in every service. What a blessing it is to see all the church on their knees at the altar confessing their sins to the Lord and getting forgiveness.

We would like to ask you to continue to pray for us, the church and the lost in Jamaica. Pray that many more will come to the Lord before it's eternally too late.

Thank yon for helping us to win souls in Jamaica.  May the Lord bless you all and thank :you for your many prayers and support.

                                                                                                 In His happy service,

                                                                                                 David & Dottie McClure
