The Martin Family
Missionaries to the Mayo Indians of Mexico

November 2004

Dear Pastor Church and Praying Friends,

We are very excited to announce the birth of our third child. Caleb Kenneth Martin was
born on September 24th 2004 in Griffin, Georgia. He weighted 6 lb. 12 oz. and was 18
inches long. He was born three weeks early because Carolyn's blood pressure had risen
and the doctor felt that is was best to induce labor. He was born with no complications and
Carolyn and Caleb are doing well.

We are looking forward to being back in Mexico in December and being able to minister to
the people God has called us to. Ofelio, one of the young preachers in the Bible Institute,
has been caring for the works in Las Higueras and San Miguel during our furlough. We
plan to continue working with Ofelio and his wife Rosa and hope that he will be willing to
take one of the works and possibly pastor that work. Please pray for God's leadership for
us and Ofelio in this situation.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. You are very important to our ministry
and family; it is hard to find words to express how we feel. During our furlough every
church we visited has been warm, caring and loving. Without you we would not be able to
carry the hope of the Gospel to the Mayo People of Mexico. Thank you so very much.

"F ear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."
Luke 2:10-11

WE WISH YOU A JOYFUL AND W ARM HOLIDAY SEASON.

His Servants,

The Martins
Byrom, Carolyn, Anna, Matthew and Caleb
