HISPANIC MINISTRY

Dear Friends & Prayer Warriors,

It was not my intention to wait this long in getting a letter off to you, however I was a pretty sick partner for a month or so after the holiday season. The doctors now say that it was an anti-biotic that I was given in trying to curb a stomach disorder caused by another medication that was the problem. So you never know just what you are getting when a doctor prescribes a medication that you have never taken before. But thank the Lord, we are back on the mend.

The Holiday services were well attended and in the last children's program some of the parents who have never attended before came. When the invitation was given six adults made it known that they were accepting the Lord as their personal Savour. One man, who had been dealt with about salvation by pastor Tim, came saying that he had trusted the Lord as his Savour in his home. Some have come asking for baptism, so we will be having a baptismal service soon.

Our Faith Promise Mission Conference was a great blessing to us and to our Church. We had a missionary couple to the Asian countries with us who thrilled our hearts with their presentation, testimonies and preaching of the Word. Bro. Mark Gray and his wife were with us also and did a splendid job in their music and singing. It was my privilege to preach twice and present a slide presentation of the past labors God allowed us to have in the Canary Islands and in Spain during those almost fifty years we were missionaries there.

Lately we have had visitors in the English services who speak more Spanish than they do English. So we are trying to encourage them to attend our Spanish services on Sunday evening also. Please pray for Pablo and Ernesto. Pablo is a believer, and Ernesto is one of those who has been saved since the Holidays and has asked for baptism. Pray for one of our regulars, Jesus ,who has been and still is very ill.

We love each of you our prayerful and financial supporters and it is a joy to be a part of your churches' ministry. Keep us near your hearts in prayer and we know the rest will be supplied.
