February 2008 Dear Praying Partners: She asked, "How can I get close to God"? This question was asked by a Mexican woman after the Christmas service in General Cepeda. She found out the answer to her question because she was gloriously saved! Our Christmas service in December had a attendance of over 190 people. In January we presented our work in Mexico to four churches in Georgia and one in Texas. I enjoyed preaching in English. We are not taking a full one-year furlough because our mission in General Cepeda does not have a pastor at this time. Our plan is to travel to the U.S. for church appointments and then return to Mexico. Please pray that we could get in some new churches and get some new financial and prayer support. In addition, we ask for your prayers that we could raise more money to buy some land in General Cepeda and start building!Finally, this past Sunday I witnessed to the husband of one of our ladies who attends our services. He prayed the sinner's prayer! Please pray for Oscar that he might become a strong Christian. Thank you for your prayers and financial support.
