Bill and Mary Horton were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries to Brazil in July, 1972.

Bill was saved at the age of fourteen, under the ministry of W. L. Bryant at the Trentman Avenue Baptist Church of Fort Worth, Texas. He is a 1972 graduate of Arlington Baptist Schools.

Mary was eleven years old when her dad led her to the Lord at Rosen Heights Baptist Church of Fort Worth. It was at Rosen Heights that Bill and Mary were married in 1963.

Bill and Mary's home church is the Pleasantview Baptist Church of Arlington, Texas, formerly Trentman Avenue Baptist Church of Fort Worth.

The Hortons have three children - Tanya, John and Kyron. John and Kyron and their families are also missionaries to Brazil.
