Dear Praying Friends:
As we begin a new year and reflect over what has been accomplished over the past 12 months, we give Him all praise and glory. There have been many souls come to know Christ as Savior, both through the preaching and through the personal door to door visitation and soulwinning of the church members, and additions to the church as those who are saved are baptized and unite with the body. The present auditorium is full on Sunday mornings for the worship service now, in spite of some inclement weather that we have been having here. There were over 400 in services this past Sunday with 27 first-time visitors, several saved and 1 baptized. Pray that we may be able to expand the building soon. There were a total of 1178 1st time visitors in 2007, and 115 baptized.
There will be a group of men from Mansfield, Ohio here the first week of February to spend a week with us on campus. They will be busy constructing the new 2 story dorm which we need for the children's home. We have poured the foundation and floor, and will have material on the grounds when they arrive. HOWEVER, we are still far short of funds to complete payment for all the needed materials. PRA Y. Christmas was a special blessing to the children this year. We extend our sincere thanks to all of you who had a part in making that a reality, through your offerings and gift items. What a blessing!
We were blessed with visits from several of our institute graduate couples during the holidays. Omar and Viri Avila came up from Sonora, and Ruben and Bety Cabrera came up from lower Baja for a quick visit, as did Tony Quiles and his wife from Ensenada. All three couples came with good reports of how God continues to work in their respective areas of service. It is a joy and a blessing to hear from these and other graduates, and to know that they are being used of God in establishing and pastoring solid, soul-winning churches in various areas of Mexico.
Thanking each of you for the vital part you have in His work here through your praying and your giving, I remain:

                                                                                       Yours because we're His,

Norm & G1oria Higgins
