About Brazil Weather in Brazil June 2011 Newsletter In July, 1978, Tim and Betty Hawkins were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries to Brazil.
Tim was raised in Brazil and was saved when he was eight years old on the banks of a river there while waiting out a storm.
Betty was saved in Florida when she was seventeen years old.
Tim and Betty were married in Starke, Florida at Pine Level Baptist Church.
Their sending church is Massillon Baptist Temple in Massillon, Ohio.
They have three children - Melissa, Jonathan and Anna.
