Dear Friends and Loved ones.

Ps 97:11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

We pray that the Lord's blessings are upon the church and that His grace and peace are abundant in your lives.

News of the Family

Rebecca and I are doing well, and Daniel has returned to boarding school for the spring semester. Things are awful quiet in the house again, but we are kept busy enough to keep our minds off of the "empty nest". Daniel (16) is doing fine at school, and is busy with his studies and sports activities,  John (20) is studying in Bible School in Wisconsin and driving a school bus. He is getting used to the cold weather and trying to get some winter clothes. Nick (23) was forced to step out a semester, to try and pay off his school bill, as he was not able to find good job while in Wisconsin and is back in Texas looking for a job. Pray that he will find one soon so that he will be able to return and finish his studies.

Changes

As some of you may know, we have a grade school designed for teaching missionary children.  During the Christmas break one of our teachers went back to the US to visit family and decided not to return and Rebecca was forced to take on the responsibility of teaching the 5th and 6th grade classes (7 students). Rebecca is doing well, but has put a pause on some of her other activities for the moment. We know the Lord has a plan in all this, and trust that she will keep her strength till the end of the school year. We need at least one teacher for the 2005-2006 school year, please pray with us concerning this.

News from the Church

The Campos Sales Church is standing firm. A young family joined the Church last Sunday, which added 6 more to the Church family. One of our young girls named Maggie (15 year old) professed Christ on Saturday night after Young Peoples Group Meeting. She was one of the first to attend the youth program on Saturday night almost two years ago. The three couples who have been with us from the beginning remain faithful and we been encouraged with their growth and participation. Rebecca's work with the children continues strong, and we have as many children as we can handle right now. We need a few more workers in the church to help out with the programs before we can expand and grow any more in this department.
Our barrio is still in a dangerous stage of development. A few day ago, just after one of our young men got off the bus he was riding home on, an armed man got on, shot the driver and stole a total of $25 from the bus and passengers. We thank the Lord for His protecting hand over us as we do His work there, and continue asking you to pray in our behalf.
Our water pump burned up this week and we are without water again. We are looking into a different kind of pump this time, and hope that it will last longer than the first one did. We have not started our permanent building for the lack of  funds, but we are sure that the Lord will provide in due season.

We thank all of you once again for you faithfulness and generosity. We Praise the Lord and thank him for you.
