Dawne was approved as a World Baptist Fellowship missionary to Portugal in August 2005.

Dawne was saved when she was three years old when her parents were living in Portugal.  She has been a children's church and Sunday School teacher, has written and directed children's plays and plays piano for church, ensemble, men's quartet and choir.  She is the daughter of Alan and Kathy Hart, WBF missionaries to Portugal.  Dawne will be assisting them in the ministry in Portugal.

Dawne graduated from Massillon Baptist College in Massillon, Ohio with a degree in Sacred Music in 2003.

Dalton Baptist Church in Dalton, Ohio is her sending church.
