JACK & UTE HARDY
WALES
Jack and Ute were approved as World Baptist Fellowship missionaries to Wales in 2004. Their sending church is the Aurora Baptist Church in Aurora, Texas. Jack and Ute met on a blind date in New Caney, Texas in June 1975, were engaged in September and married in December of that same year. Jack was saved at VBS at the Woodrow Baptist Church in Silsbee, Texas at 9 years of age. Ute was saved at the Central Baptist Church in Deer Park, Texas. They surrendered to the ministry in 1982 while attending Central Baptist Church in Deer Park. Jack went to ABC from 1982 to 1985 and graduated the summer of 1985. Ute went two years to ABC and graduated from Hardin Simmons University in 1996 with a major in elementary education. They have pastored three churches: Arthur City Baptist, Arthur City, Texas for 6 1/2 years, Faith Baptist, Abilene, Texas, for 8 1/2 yrs and First Baptist, Gary, Texas for 2 1/2 years. Ute has taught in Abilene and Carthage schools since 1996. They have two sons, Jack and John.
