APRIL 2005 REPORT

La Esperanza area: One of my new students is a man from rural Rodeo where the Catholics tried to evict the brethren. Returning from Rodeo Pastor Martinez won eight to Christ in rural Malguara, including an 89 years old woman. This seed will become his fifth church. We preached a three day evangelistic campaign for Iglesia Bautista Emanuel. Visitation for the campaign produced 15 professions of faith, including an 83 year old lady.
Institute: Nine enrolled in my Santa Catarina class; Rio Bajo has 11 students. A Salvadoran missionary now has three disciple graduates to help teach 19 students. Of 30 students in Puerto Cortes, 28 continue to study. A pastor in San Pedro Sula with 11 students excitedly promoted the institute in three churches. For information on beginning classes for their 12 congregations two pastors traveled 12 hours to visit me. The missionary to Cuba stated that due to our visits his ministry has 80 students in three cities.
Outreach: In March two local television cable networks began broadcasting 30 minute programs produced in our video studio, and another will soon begin in a nearby town. To reach the lost mini-medical brigades and/or movies are presented up to four times a month as an evangelism tool for our local congregations.
Studio: A Salvadoran Youth Pastor taught a video course for ministering to teens. He also preached four messages for the television programs, and two teens were saved as a result of messages in two of our churches.
Churches: Five were saved in the new work in rural Sabánas. One of two baptized in Ojojona has cancer, and her 76 year old father now wants to be baptized.  On Mar .13 we preached La Iglesia Bautista Nuevo Eden's organization service. That same week that Church and my Santa Catarina congregation had their first Mission Conference. Their joint commitment totaled $3,000.00. Faith Promise works anywhere; the only difference is the dollar value.
Camp: Easter Camp keeps Mary busy for weeks. Thankfully she had five ladies to help prepare the facility and then feed 125 campers. Four came from the States at great personal sacrifice. Three of our churches sent campers for the first time. The program was well organized and totally under the national pastors' leadership. The messages resulted in 15 responding to dedicate their lives to Christ. Furlough: We will begin a six month furlough in June. The ministry here prevents us from taking a full year. We will visit our supporters as our mutual schedule permits. Cement blocks and roofing materials for Nuevo Eden's second floor will cost $8,500.00. The four new missions will require funds for their buildings. The radio and television outreach, a website, the Camp ministry, plus equipment for the video studio, Bible institute will also require funding. Expansion is costly but we go through all open doors because God always provides for His work!

SOULS SAVED - 45; BAPTISMS - 7
ORGANIZATION - 1; MISSION CONFERENCES - 2
