Dear Co-Laborers,
"0 taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the man that trusteth in Him." Psalms 34:8
Since the doctor said, "no more trips to third
world countries," explaining that an attack there could be fatal,
like d-e-a-d; and since I have a special affinity toward my wife's husband, I'm swallowing my pills and trying
to obey his orders. This thing (pancreatitis) just knocked my socks off! I don't
know how much stamina you're supposed to have at 77 but I'm sure lacking in
that department. More tests and exams have been ordered.
Well, enough about that. Dot and I were able to visit the Gideon
Baptist Church in Warren, Michigan on Easter Sunday. This was sort of a
pilgrimage for us for it was our 50th spiritual birthday. On Easter Sunday
in 1960 we both found Christ as our Savior and Lord at this church.
Pastor Greg Hayward had never relinquished his pulpit on this special
day but he did for us. We appreciate deeply his gracious and unselfish
attitude. Thanks Brother Greg!
The following Wednesday we were at Covenant Baptist Church in Sterling
Heights, Michigan. Pastor Paul Madonna gave us an opportunity to speak.
Thank you too, Brother Paul.
We thank all our churches and friends for your
investment in our ministry and for your patience at this time. God bless!
