THE DENSMORE FAMILY
MISSIONARIES TO NEW ZEALAND
April 26, 2008
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Joy and I wanted to give you all an update on our church plant and Eliana.
God's church in Centennial seems to be growing every week. We have had a
guest every week for over two months. God has given Joy and I the
privilege to disciple several men and women. God is so good to us. We
moved out of the hotel and into a store front property. We are trying
to establish a ministry not just a Sunday morning only church. The
move reassured several people that we are determined to establish a strong
indigenous church. The church is able to support its property but is still
far away from supporting a pastor. Your missionary support is making
this possible. There are still many obstacles to overcome before we can
consider New Zealand. Insurance, Eliana's visa, and medical facilities in
New Zealand to provide adequate health care for Eliana. Eliana is
currently at Children's Hospital again. She has been hospitalized for 1
day and should come home in the next couple of days. (As of 5-7-08
she has been home) Eliana started vomiting again. Her doctors decided to
be pro active and treat her before he disease flared up. This should allow
her to be there for only a couple of days. Her meta port in her chest has
been a great blessing for IV access and blood draws.
Joy and I could never say "thank you" for all of your prayers
and support. We will be writing a short narration of Eliana's 1st year of
life as we approach her first birthday. Pray for us as we work as hard as
we can in the field that we have been placed.
God Bless,
Brian and Joy Densmore
