Your Missionaries
to Ecuador

Dear Praying Friends,
Isn't it
amazing to watch God work as only He can? As we have been traveling in West
Virginia, Virginia, Ohio and Oklahoma we have seen God working in lives of His
people. We have seen the Holy Spirit working through born again people to meet
and even break their goals in Faith Promise Mission Conferences. Each time this
happens it brings to mind that we truly serve an almighty God that can supply
our every need. During this time we also have seen lives changed as some have
come forward to receive Christ as their Savior and others have given their lives
for full time service. We ask you to pray in particular for those that have
surrendered their lives for full time service. There is a great need for new
laborers in the field and Satan is fighting them all the way. We see many
countries that have lost missionaries because of health problems. If we do not
replace them we will see a loss of ground in a very short time.
Missionary Mel Neill has called us from Ecuador with good news about the works.
The Ladies' Retreat will be taking place during Oct. 7 -9 and there are about
130 ladies registered to attend. There is one prayer request we ask you to
remember. As these ladies leave the retreat many will be going home to
conditions that are very hard. They want to serve the Lord and are paying the
price to do so. Would you pray that God will give them a special grace as they
work along side of their husbands and that each need would be met for them?
Our Bible Institutes are going well and we look forward to returning to Ecuador
and once again teaching the students. Because the economy is not doing well we
ask you to consider this prayer request. We would like to open a bank account of
$1000.00 which would be used to buy books for the Bible Institute. By doing this
we could then give them a payment plan where they could pay for the books as
they go. Most do not have the funds to pay for the books as they enter the
Institute and this would really help them. God has blessed in the past and we
have been able to buy some Bibles and other materials for the men studying for
the ministry. We would like to continue this practice.
For those of you that have asked for other needs to pray for, we would like to
give you something that will happen in the future. We have a church group that
will be coming to Ecuador in July 2005 to help in several areas. We will
be trying to finish up the floor at the camp, some of the walls, beds, and
several other projects. We need your prayers that God would supply money to buy
the materials so that I will be able to have it ready for them to work. God has
already supplied part of the funds to buy mattresses. This will be the third
work team from this church and we are thrilled they feel led to come again. It
will be a great help and encouragement to their brothers and sisters in the
faith.
Yours for Souls,
