Dear friends,

Thank you so much for your prayers over the last several months.  Your prayers have made such a difference in our emotional and spiritual well-being during this time. 

Our final visit to the neurologist, Dr. Kole, was this afternoon.  Dale has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  At this time, we are in a somewhat "state of shock."  Many of the tests done here in the states were inconclusive and our minds had already started to think that way about the lumbar puncture results. But we know that God has a plan and that He will help us to carry this burden.

We would appreciate your continued prayers in the days ahead.  New Zealand's socialized medicine will not pay for the daily, inject-able medication Dale will  need.  If we can get it shipped from the states, we only have a $25 co/pay/month plus shipping costs.   If New Zealand will not allow the medication to be shipped in, we can get the medication there but our insurance will only cover 80% of the $1600-$2000/month prescription.  We know that God can work out all the details.

PS  Our flight from Detroit, Michigan, leaves at 2pm, Thursday, May 22.  We are anxious to get back home!!!
