The Browns in New Zealand May 2005 Dear Praying Friends, It's good to be a Christian. It's good to serve the Lord. It's also good to know believers in America are faithfully praying for God's work in New Zealand and around the world. Your prayers continue to reap a harvest of blessings. We recently organised and ran our first ever men's retreat. It was wonderfully received by the 20 men from three churches in attendance. Several men returned home with a new zeal to serve the Lord and reach others for Christ. The Lord has brought several visitors to the Sunday services over the past couple of months. I believe this is a direct result of people like you praying and our people here increasing in their outreach efforts. Please pray specifically for a young married couple. The wife, Raquel, is from Columbia, South America. She is saved, but has been away from the Lord for some time. The husband, John, is a Kiwi and is lost. We would love to see God's will done in their lives. By the time you receive this letter, we will be stateside beginning our furlough. This time of transition never seems to get easier. We very much enjoy sharing with our supporting churches what God is doing in New Zealand. At the same time, it is difficult leaving the work we love so dearly. Thanks to email, our furlough schedule is progressing nicely. If you have not already, you can email us (address below) to set up a time for us to come and report. If you do not have access to email, we will contact you in the coming weeks. . We look forward to renewing old acquaintances and meeting new friends.By HIS grace & for HIS glory, The Browns Dale, Janet,
