G'day,
In our church in New Zealand we have a "Prayer and Praise"
time each Sunday morning. Since we are family, it is important
to share our prayer requests and praise with each other.
Our people really love this special time. We in turn have been
sharing our prayer requests with you, but realize that we need to
share our "praise", too.
The Lord has been so good. Nathan and Josh are arriving in
New Zealand on April 3, and will be staying for the whole month.
Their travel plans and tickets had been arranged months ago. We
really are looking forward to our time together.
On the recommendation of family, friends, and the neurologist here in
NZ, we have decided to come to the states for further tests and
possible treatment for Dale. Josh, Dale and myself will be
leaving on April 30. Josh will return to Texas and we will fly
to Michigan where Dale will undergo the needed medical tests.
Tentatively, we are scheduled to return to New Zealand May 24.
Nathan will stay in New Zealand and take care of Micah while we're
away (thank you to those of you who prayed for someone to watch
Micah). These plans have not been easy to make, but the
Lord continues to work out the details.
God never ceases to amaze us. Easter in New Zealand is just
another four-day holiday. But we had a great Easter
Service with 85 in attendance. What a great way to start the
week. Along with that, Dale has had a really good week for which
we are thankful.
Thank you for the encouraging emails we have received over the past
couple of weeks!
Expecting God to do great things,
Janet
PS. One more praise. . .I have decided to return with Dale as he
undergoes tests. This was made possible through a letter I
received recently. Someone, who did not know about Dale's
health, asked if they could purchase a ticket for me to visit my
parents in the states. What a blessing!!
