We ran into some problems with the local government while trying to get the permit for a modular building.  We are still working on the problem and are considering other options.  Mainly the possibility of skipping the modular building and going directly into a building program.  Many issues will have to be worked out,  one  is the money with which to build, the other the approval of building permits by Maui County. Pray with to us concerning these things.

The home Bible Study is going well. We baptized six since our last prayer letter.  Two were baptized yesterday morning. We had the privilege of leading Cassie to the Lord two months ago.

About a  year  one of the men of the church, Harry Timmins, shared his testimony that God had called him into the ministry.  I have been working with Harry one on one each week, studying with him, taking him with me as I visit and minister.  It has been a joy to watch him grow.  He has been teaching and preaching in services.  The church has recognized God’s call on his life and he is now working part time for the church.  Pray for him as we endeavor to mentor him.

Calvin, the 15 year old brother of the 8 month baby who died of sids is still attending, his mom and dad come once in a while, please keep praying for them.

We still have the tarp outside for classes. Attendance has been good, we had 97 yesterday morning and 50 last evening.  Daily Vacation Bible School will be July 9th  through the 13th . We will have a closing program Sunday July 15th.  July 15th will also be Ruth and my 40th wedding anniversary.
